1. Be clear, concise and quick. Facebook’s new call-to-action buttons give good examples of how short your CTA should be: they’re all only two words. Yours can be longer, but don’t go over five words.
2. Use urgent language. The word “now” makes it clear when you want your prospect to act, but you can get the same message with an actual or suggested deadline. Consider the implied meaning behind: Enroll Today.
3. Make it stand out. It’s not just the words you use but also the font, color, size and style that will lead your prospect’s attention exactly where you want it to be: at your CTA. Consider big, bold, bright colors that will grab your audience’s attention.
